It’s important to know the kind of energies that went into the making of the art. This was quite a tactile experience as I applied the paints directly to the canvas with my hands. It’s a sensory experience that I truly appreciated and enjoyed, as I was able to blend, push, drag, and manipulate the paints in ways that are dulled through use of other tools. The canvas was prepped with random flat spreads of matte super heavy gel that adds to the texture. There’s a lot of joy in this piece!
