I began this piece with the intent of working in the abstract and wanted to incorporate different materials on the canvas. This piece went through many transformations before journey’s end. I created this piece with an open mind and relied on Divine inspiration as I worked through the painting. Ironically the end result manifested itself in the form of an angel. The Indigo Angel’s dress is mesh material and her bouquet of Light, Love, Force, and Life is recycled dried paint and molding paste. Ready to hang, wire attached. This painting looks great in natural light which really brings out the rich blue color. The piece also has lots of texture. The matte super heavy gel leaves a glossy finish on parts of the painting, which is more noticeable if viewed from an angle. The surface with painted dots, “wings” does not have a glossy finish. Sides, top and bottom painted black.
